The AW37428 is a power management unit with a SC-BUCK DCDC converter designed for use in conjunction with power amplifiers in a multi-mode 3G/4G handheld system. It can also support HPUE/PC2 operation.

The SC-BUCK mechanism of the DCDC converter allows for operation in a wide range of supply voltages (2.5V~5.1V), and output voltage from 0.4V to 5.5V.

AW37428 supports APT function, and the voltage regulation interval is 50mV/step. At the same time, it supports automatic mode switching between step-up mode(SC Mode) and step-down mode (BUCK Mode). Also it can automatic switching between CCM mode and DCM mode affected by the load. It supports MIPI 2.0 bus interface, and the typical working frequency is 26 Mbit/s.

The AW37428 features complete abnormal protection and abnormal information indication. It integrates OVP, OTP, OCP, SCP, UVLO protections. It supports short circuit protection of CWELL capacitor and FLY capacitor.
